What's New in the Retirement Plan Landscape

Please join us along with Presenters Laurie DuChateau and Patrick Trunzo, for a program which will focus on the following issues relating to employee benefit plans:

  • Challenges facing plans and fiduciaries: Case Law updates on Fee Litigation and Actuarial Equivalencies, Regulatory/Agency Guidance, and others.
  • What might be in store for plans (SECURE 2.0).
  • Action items for the remainder of 2022,
    including discussion about Amendments for
    CARES Act and required minimum distributions.

About the Speakers:

Presenters: Laurie DuChateau and Patrick Trunzo with Buck Global, LLC

Laurie S. DuChateau, JD, is the leader of Buck’s Compliance Consulting Practice.   She has over 25 years of experience in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation and is responsible for Buck’s national compliance consulting, thought leadership, publications, government relations/policy, research and training. She provides employee benefit support and due diligence in all aspects of qualified and non-qualified plans, retirement plans, executive compensation plans, and health and welfare benefit plans.  Laurie also has substantive experience in fiduciary compliance and risk mitigation. 

 

Patrick Trunzo, JD, is a Director in the Compliance Consulting Practice at Buck.  He has over 20 years of experience helping employers meet the various legal and administrative requirements of their employee benefit plans.  Pat provides consulting services for retirement plans, including amending and restating plan documents and summary plan descriptions in response to law changes, fiduciary concerns, plan design changes and plan mergers. He also prepares various IRS and DOL filings, including determination letter applications and voluntary correction program filings, and handles various compliance issues relating to retirement and welfare plans.
